I started skating when I was 8, participating and competing in Singles, Pairs and Dance. I competed in the 1976 U.S. National Championships. I have passed the Gold, (Senior), Tests in Figures, Freeskate, Pairs and Dance. My coaching career began in 1978. I have coached skaters to the U.S. Junior National Championships for 12 years in Singles and Pairs. I have been coach to 5 U.S. Nationals Champions and have taken Synchronized Skating Teams to the U.S. National Synchronized Championships every year since 1991. I also skate on La Furia masters Synchronized Team and have twice won National bronze medals

I like seeing my students make progress, accomplish their goals and grow in character and love for the sport. It has been a privilege to be able to coach many skaters from the beginning through their Gold tests. I work hard to continue my education, earning three Master Ratings from PSA in Freeskate, Moves in the Field and Synchro to be the best I can be for my students.

I love to coach especially highly motivated, competitive skaters. Hard work and a good attitude is all it takes to please me. Away from the rink I love sports, reading, hiking and riding horses. I enjoy being involved in theater, recently appearing in a production of “Fiddler on the Roof.”  My wonderful family includes my husband Mike, daughters Hanna, Michaela and Melissa and sons-in-law Zach and Jason and especially granddaughters Olivia and Lilia.
